If your child will be new to China Spring ISD for the 2026-27 school year, meaning they did not complete the 2025-26 school year at China Spring ISD, the first step in the registration process is to complete new student enrollment in person at the campus your child will attend.

• New student enrollment must be completed at the campus where your student is enrolling.

• Families may stop by during regular campus office hours to complete this process.

• This in-person step is required before families can access the online registration portal and complete the registration process for China Spring ISD.
  

New student enrollment for China Spring Primary School pre-k and kindergarten is already underway, and families may continue registering during regular office hours. Families new to the district can visit during office hours to pick up an enrollment packet. No appointment is needed.

If your child is currently receiving walk-in services and is expected to be a full-time student for the 2026-27 school year, please call the campuses registrar to see what documents you may need.

Additional documents needed when you register:

• Government-issued photo ID of all parents/guardians

• Student's birth certificate

• Student's social security card

• Student's shot record

• *Pre-K Families only: Supporting documents to confirm pre-k eligibility

• Proof of residency documents including:

  • A copy of current utility bill (electric, gas, water) dated within the last 30 days

    • Utility bill must include: Service address, date and account owner name

    • The account owner name must match the name of the parent-guardian living at that residence/address

    • P.O. Boxes and disconnect notices are not accepted

  • or

    • Connection Letters

      • If connection letters are submitted, the utility bill must be submitted within 30 days

  • or

    • A current lease agreement with the name of the parent/guardian, address and term/length of lease.

      • If current lease agreement is submitted, a utility bill must be submitted within 30 days of enrollment

  • or

    • If you have recently purchased your home, a copy of the closing papers will suffice until a utility bill is available

      • Utility bill must be submitted within 30 days of enrollment

For returning and new Cougar Cubs that have completed the enrollment packet, district online registration is expected to begin in late-July. Parents will receive an email with registration instructions. Parents will not be able to register their student(s) for school until the new student enrollment packets are completed and they receive their parent portal letter.

Online registration for the 2026-27 school year is expected to open in late-July. All families will be notified via email when registration is open.
