Dear Cougar Cub Families,
Cooler weather is here! Please write your child’s name inside jackets, coats, and gloves, and check our lost and found regularly for missing items. Classes will continue going outside for recess as long as temperatures remain above 40 degrees, so please help your child come dressed for the weather.
Students must wear tennis shoes every day for PE and recess. Proper footwear helps keep your child safe while running, playing, and participating in daily activities. Thank you for helping our Cougar Cubs arrive ready to learn and play!
Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place throughout this week. Please make sure you have connected with your child’s teacher to arrange a conference. This is a valuable opportunity to celebrate progress, discuss areas for growth, and work together to support your child’s success.
Looking ahead, Red Ribbon Week kicks off next Monday! On Thursday, October 29, students are invited to dress as a storybook character. As you plan, please remember that students may not wear anything that covers their faces or bring weapon props or other props that could become a distraction. Students will also have to opportunity to enjoy Spooky Guest Readers and Trunk-or-Treat organized by the PTA.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for helping make China Spring Primary a safe, caring, and joyful place for our Cougar Cubs to grow!
With Cougar Cub Pride, Your Principal,
Ms. Duncan

School Spirit: Fall Dress Up Days

Shop Online. Support Our School. Share with friends and family! It’s That Simple!
Did you know that you can support our school without spending any extra money or buying anything you wouldn’t normally purchase?
Our School Store Program is an online shopping tool that allows you to access many of the stores you already shop with. When you make a purchase by starting through the School Store website, the participating retailer gives a rebate back to our school. Think of it like AmazonSmile or Box Tops, you are simply making your normal purchases, but by using the School Store as your starting point. There is no fundraising obligation and no pressure to purchase anything. We are not asking families to spend money for the sake of fundraising. If you are already planning to shop online, simply consider going through the School Store first. The goal is simple: make the purchases you were already going to make, use the School Store as your starting point, and let participating retailers give back to our school. No extra shopping. No required purchases. No pressure. Just share the school store with your friends and family so that they can help give back also! Just an easy way to turn everyday online shopping into an opportunity to support our students and school.
The School Store also offers opportunities for students to earn rewards, participate in activities, and win prizes. There are even options to purchase gift cards for teachers, making it a convenient way to recognize and support our amazing teachers while potentially benefiting the school as well. School Store is active all year long so even if you don't regularly shop online, Christmas and birthdays are a great time to use the website.
How does your student start earning prizes without spending any money at all? Sign them up for the school store and then send 8 emails to friends and family. Once you have shared the school store with 8 validated email addresses, you will receive a unique code. Fill out the lanyard and write the code on the line and then send the lanyard back to school. See the video we shared with students by clicking here.
