Dear Cougar Families,
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated dismissal during Friday’s inclement weather. We are incredibly proud of our Cougar Cubs for staying calm, listening carefully to directions, and comforting one another. Their kindness and cooperation were wonderful examples of our campus community!
As cooler weather approaches, please label your child’s jackets, lunch boxes, and water bottles with their first and last name so misplaced items can be returned quickly. Finally, please read this week’s newsletter carefully—it includes important dates, reminders, and upcoming events you won’t want to miss!
Little Paws, Big Growth! 🐾
Your Principal,
Ashlee Duncan

GT Parent Information Meeting
Parents interested in learning more about the CSISD Gifted and Talented (GT) program are invited to join us on Wednesday, September 30th from 5:30-6:30pm at China Spring Elementary School, GT room (103).
This meeting is designed for parents (K-5) who would like to learn more about GT services and the identification process for students who are not currently participating in the GT program.
Your Form Submission Matters
China Spring ISD is asking every family to complete the National School Lunch Program Form for the 2026-27 school year. Every response matters. The information helps us have a clearer picture of our school community and make sure we have the resources and programs to support all students. Whether or not your family qualifies for meal benefits, completing the form helps strengthen our district and the services we can provide to students. Your information is kept private. China Spring ISD does not have access to the information you provide on the form. Families only need to complete one application for all students in the household: Complete the National School Lunch Program Form.
