Dear Families,
We made it through Halloween week—costumes, candy, and all! Thank you for helping make our fall festivities such a fun and memorable time for our students. As we move into November, our focus turns to gratitude, kindness, and continuing strong learning as the semester moves forward.
This month brings opportunities to reflect on all we’re thankful for—our wonderful students, supportive families, and dedicated staff who make our school community so special. As we enter the season of thankfulness, we invite you to take a moment to share what you appreciate about our amazing staff! Whether it's your child's teacher, a support staff member, or anyone who has made a difference, your kind words mean so much. Please take a minute to complete this short Google Form to let us know who you are thankful for and why. Your messages will be shared with staff to spread a little extra joy and gratitude this season.
We look forward to a month filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful moments together.
With Appreciation,
Mrs. Duncan, Principal

Important Reminders:
MORNING DROP OFF: A friendly reminder to please remain in your car at all times while in the drop off line.
If you would like to personally assist your student in exiting the car and steal a final hug and kiss, please park at the track and walk your student to the sidewalk.
Staying in your car helps the line move quickly and safely.
More families are joining the carline. This is extending the line and taking a little longer to get through. Please plan accordingly.
Campus opens at 7:00am to begin car rider drop off.
The first instructional bell rings at 7:50am.
Students arriving after this bell are tardy and must be signed in to the office by a parent.
JACKETS: Please be sure to send your student with a jacket each day.Weather permitting, students will continue to go outside for recess.
LOST AND FOUND: The lost and found is growing each day. Please be sure to write your student's name on jackets, water bottles, gloves and hats.
Camp Careful Presentation – Kindergarten & First Grade
On Thursday, November 6, kindergarten and first grade students will have the opportunity to attend a Camp Careful presentation led by Dr. Soo Battle, a local pediatrician and founder of the program. The presentation focuses on helping young children understand body safety, boundaries, and how to stay safe and healthy. Because of the sensitive nature of this discussion, parent or guardian consent is required for participation. Please complete the consent form by Wednesday, November 5. Click here for Camp Careful consent form.

China Spring ISD VATRE Measure:
Election Day is Tuesday, November 4. The proposed total tax rate is $0.98192, which is 3.7 cents lower than last year's rate. If voters approve the VATRE, it will provide about $2.16 million in additional annual funding for our schools, while still keeping the overall school tax rate lower than last year.
Visit the CSISD VATRE website to find a complete list of early voting locations and hours, and review a copy of the ballot for McLennan and Bosque counties: https://www.chinaspringisd.net/o/csisd/page/voting.
