CSP Weekly News

Parents,

We would like to invite you to be a guest reader on Thursday, October 30. We will rotate groups of students through for a read aloud with you! Please email Ms. Duncan if you are interested. If you need a book, we have plenty! The 30th is Storybook Character dress up day, so costumes are a plus! If you would like to pair up, that is great too! We can plan for readers in multiple places during each time slot and put more than one class in a location at a time (ie: MPR). Classes will also be rotating through the trunk or treat during these times. Thank you in advance! We are excited to start this new tradition.

The proposed total tax rate is $0.98192, which is 3.7 cents lower than last year's rate. If voters approve the VATRE, it will provide about $2.16 million in additional annual funding for our schools, while still keeping the overall school tax rate lower than last year.

Visit the CSISD VATRE website to find a complete list of early voting locations and hours, and review a copy of the ballot for McLennan and Bosque counties: https://www.chinaspringisd.net/o/csisd/page/voting.
